City Angkor Hotel Siem Reap, Siem Reap

I booked this hotel as part of a budget tour package, so I went in with low expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff and the calming atmosphere of the room. While it's not a luxury stay, it's perfect if you're all about exploring archaeological sites and don’t plan on spending much time at the hotel. I loved that breakfast varied a bit each day and especially enjoyed the fresh-made noodles. Overall, it was a good deal for the price!

My stay at The City Angkor Hotel was quite enjoyable overall. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the welcome drink made checking in a pleasant experience. However, I felt a bit isolated as the hotel is located far from the vibrant Old Market area, which required extra transport costs.
